Do you remember me?
We used to be so close like two peas in a pod
We laughed; we joked; stayed up until midnight
And all we did was talk.

You made me feel like I could conquer the world
Like I held it all in the palm of my hands
You made me see the strength inside
You were the one that gave me the strength to stand.

Or have those times become nothing but a dream
Maybe something you don’t want to remember
Something you wished you had never experienced or seen.

I guess there are some things in life that will never change.
